February

February is almost over!  Yay!  I'm super happy about that because March means the beginning of Spring.  It's not necessarily nice weather in March, but it brings a bit of hope that warmth, green grass, and flowers are just around the bend.

Matt and I attended our first ballet.  It was my gift to us for Christmas.  We went to BYU Theater Ballet of Swan Lake at the Conference Center in Salt Lake.  We really enjoyed it and appreciated the talent that these women and men have developed.  Right before the performance began, I got online to read a synopsis of the Swan Lake story.  It's a good thing I did because we were able to understand what was going on.  We would have been quite lost if we hadn't looked it up.  I wish I could have taken a picture during the ballet because it was so beautiful, but of course that wasn't allowed.  So a pic of the program will have to do.

Last week I met up with a group of women that I associated with in Kirksville, Missouri when our husbands were 1st and 2nd year medical students from 1995-1997.  I've been friends on Facebook with a few of them, but we haven't seen each other in person for over 20 years.  We all currently live in Utah from Logan down to Salem, so we met in Farmington at Javiers for lunch.  It was fun catching up with them and seeing the wrinkles in each other's faces that weren't there during medical school.  I hope that we can arrange a time when more of our friends from other states can join us for a bigger reunion.

Sometimes after getting my hair done, I like to take pictures of what it looks like as soon as I get home.  So here is today's cut and color.  My stylist is a super awesome lady named Emilee Donaldson at Rooted Aveda in Draper.
