In Like A Lion

This is what it looks like outside my door this morning.  

 Good ol' Larry Gebert from Channel 7 predicted that March would come in like a lion and out like a lamb.  He's right on the first part, that's for sure.  I'm holding him to the lamb part.  I'm so ready for a good spring.  I want to have sun and warmth in my near future.

Look what I discovered is truly in my future.  Thanks to my fortune cookie at last night's laurel activity, my wish for travel is for certain (if you believe that Panda Express is the source of all good fortune).  I'll take it as truth, thank you.

If you can't read that ('cause my dumb camera is on it's last leg), it says "You will travel far and wide".  You betcha.  That's what I'm gonna do.  I'm not sure that the Oregon Coast during spring break really counts as far and wide.  So I guess I better figure out a way to get to Bali.... because that is far and wide to me.

THIS deliciousness will help me make it through March.  It brings back childhood memories of my dad taking the fam to get Shamrock Shakes when we lived in Oak Harbor, Washington.  It's my fav at McDonald's around St. Patrick's Day.  I always have to go get one in March.  Now I can make them myself at home thanks to this recipe from Your Home-Based Mom.
