June Stuff

June started out with Sam and Ken's daughter, Lanie, getting married.  Emma and I attended her sealing at the Provo City Center temple in the morning.  Beautiful experience.  Ken had an empty seat next to him, and I have a feeling that Sam was sitting in that chair watching their daughter make those sacred covenants.  That evening, we went to the reception and visited with extended family and watched Lanie and Logan dance the night away.  Thankfully, we escaped getting Covid that was unknowingly getting passed around the fam that weekend.  Ken stayed in our basement guest room during his trip here to Utah.  Because he got Covid, it turned into two weeks.  We were glad that we could give him a comfortable place to be.

My peonies bloomed once again at the beginning of June.  They were big and gorgeous this year.  I love bringing them inside where we can enjoy them.
Matt and I went to the Provo temple with Emma.  It's really nice attending with her.  She loves going, and that makes my heart happy.
Emma turned 21 years old!  We sure think she's pretty darn great!  We celebrated with two types of pies.  Yum.  I bought her this navy blue dress with gold stars, and she looks stunning in it!
This showed up on my Instagram feed, and I knew exactly who that handsome pilot was!

Gas prices are now over $5.00 a gallon! Yikes!
I volunteered for Rising Star Outreach at their annual golf tournament at Red Ledges.  I was a hole-in-one witness at hole 15.  Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, there wasn't one this year.  RSO will always have a special place in my heart, so I'm glad I could help even in this small way.

Other happenings...
Back to school for Emma.  Piper and Spencer go camping together for the first time.  Ryan Hamilton show finally happened after three postponements over a two year period (Covid and getting hit by a bus).  Kristen goes to Nicaragua.  Another beautiful sunset on Rock Canyon.  Matt planted rose bushes.
