Not very many pictures were taken to document the handful of fun things we did this month.
Matt worked on the 4th of July weekend so we didn't plan anything together. On Saturday the 2nd, Emma and I watched the fireworks at the Stadium of Fire up the street at Sertoma park. A convenient and free way to get in a little celebration. And then on the 4th, the two of us went up to West Bountiful to be with some extended Eastman family for the fireworks at the city park.
Emma invited Matt and I along with her to the Payson temple for an endowment session. Super wonderful, as always. We love going to the temple with her.
Three things that deserve no pictures taken...
*I got my annual mammogram, and all went well with that.
*I studied for hours in preparation for my July gospel doctrine lesson about the scattering of Israel and also king Josiah. It went just fine.
*Another time consumer of my life right now (that keeps getting dragged out) is writing a paper for my college course. I love the reading but hate the writing.
Matt and I rented e-bikes and rode up Provo Canyon for a few hours. Super fun Saturday morning. Now we want to get our own!
On Pioneer Day, we went to the Days of '47 Rodeo. It (& the corndogs) is becoming a tradition. Emma brought her friend Maisie.
Emma wanted me to tag along with her to (Hermana) Katie Tea's wedding and reception in Pocatello, Idaho, so we drove there together on a Tuesday night. I hung out in the hotel the next morning while she attended the sealing in the temple. Then I went to lunch and did a little shopping with my dear friend, Kris Bell. She recently moved there. So fun to meet up with her for a few hours. To kill more time, I did some shopping and hanging out in the car by myself while Emma had fun setting up for and attending the reception. I'm happy I got to spend that time with my girl. We arrived home at midnight. Long day!
