Zoom Boom

Zoom.  I had never heard of it until this whole quarantine/social distancing came into our lives.  It certainly existed and many people were already using it, but then it boomed and now it's a household word.  It sure has been convenient and super useful in these weird times when we aren't supposed to be around other people.  Basically, Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool that you can use with or without video and/or microphone.  Its uses have been endless... schools from kindergartens to universities, extra curricular activities such as piano and dance lessons, office/work meetings, birthday parties, funerals, weddings, family chats, counseling sessions, church services, etc.  The list goes on.  I've been using it for my stake Relief Society presidency meetings every couple weeks.  I've also been apart of a regional self reliance meeting through Zoom as well as a stake committee meeting.  I signed up for some hair care courses and a four week Step Into Your Purpose course.  My ward Relief Society had a beautiful lesson one Sunday before they were asked not to do that anymore. But they were allowed to hold weeknight Zoom activities which they did a couple of times... one about gardening and one about cooking.  We've also had a couple family get togethers with both sides of our families.  Zoom has been pretty darn awesome!
